Out of the 179 outstanding student leaders from all over the country who were called in for interview last Nov. 22-24, 81 of them made the cut and will be invited to participate in the 14th Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC 2012) on Feb. 7-10, 2012 in Tagaytay.
These top 81 emerged from about 800 applications received this year, and have successfully passed the different phases of AYLC’s rigorous screening process. They will now undergo a 4-day leadership summit which will feature talks, outdoor activities, plenary sessions and workshop group discussions. Well-known and highly respected leaders from government, civil society, business, the arts, media and entertainment will share their own leadership stories and experiences that will challenge participants’ perspectives and paradigms.
The Ayala Young Leaders Congress is a concrete expression of the Ayala Group’s commitment to national development. It is the keystone of “Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders”, the youth leadership development program launched in 1998 by the Ayala group of companies as a strategic investment in the youth, and ultimately, in the future of the country.
Ayala’s dream is to nurture a community and form a network of values-based and principled Filipino leaders committed passionately to nation building and to uplifting the lives of their fellow Filipinos.
